Truth on This Day Poem ISO " To This Day"

For this poem I will be using Anaphora, which is the repetition of a word or phrase in successive clauses Today is a day Today is a good day Today is still young Young enough for it to change Drastically or minimally In the best or worst way Yet, I am lucky because I am here today And Everyday I can change lives for the better Whether that is mine or the worlds Because depending on my mindset Today will be a day Today will be a good day Today will be a day , where I take a step to change the world

ISO Metaophor Poem

Life is like a math problem Not like a simple math problem such as a algebraic equation But the hardest problem in like calculus 7 It’s impossible to know the solution an such a young age Because when you are young and just learning the basics Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division But as you learn each new part Progress every single year Eventually when you are old enough You’ll have all the lessons you need To solve the math problem known as life

ISO "If I Should Have a Child"

If I had a son, there are ten things I would know, He would be just like me. I am the same as my father. My grandmother says I am just as nice, kind and always willing to help as he is. If you put two pictures of my father and I of the same age, there is no difference except the quality of the picture. We would have the same name. I would pass down my name as my father did to me. I would provide every opportunity for him to succeed. I would make sure he learned from the struggles and failures of life. I know he will grow up too fast. I will give him space to grow and become who he wants on his own. Still, I will always be there for him no matter the situation. I will surround him with family and friends as this is how I grew up, surrounded by my many uncles, aunts, and cousins. I will try to understand his life and grow with him. Most importantly, I will be the best father I can be.
