ISO "Dear...."

 Dear Life

Why are you so foreign?

Why are you like a math problem with so many answers?

Answers that lead to more problems and questions

In which the solution to those leads to the same thing

In a repeated cycle

Until one day it stops

Where you’ve endured struggle and failure

Until you’ve endured so much of it that it leads you to drive yourself to your hopes and dreams

Until you’ve taken every path

Endured every obstacle

And formed your own path for life

But why does this wisdom come so late?

After so many years we finally begin to understand

Just barely grasp the knowledge that

Has come from so much of life

And begin to apply each lesson from before

To each new obstacle ahead

To begin to see our mistakes from the past

Reliving each moments in our head

Why didn’t I do this?

Why didn’t I do that?

Finally seeing the easy solution to our problems so much later

Having no power to do anything about it now

As it has already been solved in the most complex of ways

Why are you so mysterious?

Why are the answers staring us in the face

Yet blind to the naked eye?

So difficult to read that only the essence of time can help us glimpse these answers

Yet by time they are available it is often too late

Why are you this way?

I believe it is because you see only through struggle, failure and time

Will we truly be able to understand your answers.
